Celebrating a legendary partnership making its mark on the iconic city of Paris.

As the official timekeepers of the National Basketball Association, Tissot’s precision system, created in collaboration with the NBA, has been used across all 29 arenas for 8 years running. To celebrate this special relationship and build excitement during the countdown to the 2024 Paris Game, the brand wanted to seize this unique opportunity to engage a new audience on a global stage and captivate audiences across social channels.
Leveraging the narrative of the Game dominating this legendary location, three CGI-stunt illusions that use a mixture of live-action footage and 3D animation show Paris’ most prominent landmarks merging with the Tissot shot clock. Using the clock as the focal point throughout, its presence embodies the drama and tension of the countdown to the big event, mirroring the anticipation it evokes in the Game itself.
With the live-action footage filmed on-site in Paris, the Tissot shot clock was then built in 3D, tracked and seamlessly blended with both reality and surreal animation elements, creating a captivating 6 second hook with Tissot front and centre.
