Creating Michael Kors’ very first all-CG ad campaign for their Spring / Summer 2024 collection launch.
-
As part of wider global campaign, we developed an LA glamour-inspired surrealist aesthetic to bring to life Michael Kors’ collection in motion.
We crafted four bespoke films to capture the attention of MK’s consumers, captivating with unexpected moments and stunning product shots. Our partnership with MK represents the forward-thinking nature of the brand, as well as their desire to leverage modern approaches to tell engaging brand stories and showcase their premium products in innovative and aesthetic ways.
Our team meticulously modelled and textured the Colby and Tribeca bags in 3D, whilst conceptualising two distinct environments for each campaign. For the Spring films, we embraced the themes of 'Surreal and Real' and 'Reflect and Refract.' Presenting the products as larger-than-life, set against the backdrop of a sleek LA poolside villa. Using underwater shots, we captured the bags refracted through the crystal-clear pool water, creating ethereal and abstract visuals. Playful scenes featured the bags splashing into the pool, and basking in the sun, adding a fantastical touch.
In contrast, the Summer films adopted the 'Miami Sunset' concept, offering a sexy and chic aesthetic. These films showcased the chrome bags during the golden hour - set against sparkling sand and mesmerising ocean, with light reflecting and refracting off their metallic leather. Slow, close-up shots highlighted the intricate stitching and fine details of the bags, emphasising their luxurious craftsmanship. -
